A Journey of Friendship and Photography: Connecting with Sara and Capturing Their Moments – A Roanoke Photographer's Tale
Almost three years ago, I had the pleasure of crossing paths with Sara, a bride-to-be in search of a wedding photographer. Little did I know that this encounter would mark the beginning of a beautiful friendship and countless memorable moments in front of my camera. As a Roanoke photographer, it's these connections that make my profession truly special.
Our story began with a simple email exchange. Sara was on the hunt for the perfect wedding photographer and we soon found ourselves communicating back and forth. It didn't take long before we scheduled a final meeting – a pivotal moment since Sara and her partner had already chosen their wedding date. Fate, however, had a unique twist in store for us. At that point, I had only booked one date for the entire year (two years ahead!!), and you guessed it – they had picked that very date!
From Clients to Friends
Fast forward a year and a half, and our paths converged once again. This time, I needed models for a magazine shoot, and Sara and her partner volunteered without hesitation. It was during this creative endeavor that our bond deepened. Their enthusiasm and joy in front of the camera were infectious, making the session a remarkable experience for all involved.
A Fall Adventure
Our recent session together couldn't have been timed better. It was autumn, and the vibrant colors of fall were in full bloom, casting a warm and inviting backdrop for our photographs. The session was made even more delightful by the presence of Sadie, their playful puppy. After all, don't puppies have a knack for making every moment even more special? Definitely nothing better than puppy photos!
