Jennifer & Jim were introduced through their mutual friend, Gretchen. The two met for the first time at Blue 5 for some cocktails. Jennifer was new in town and hardly knew anyone but Jim on the other hand seemed to know everyone! That night, Jennifer was introduced to several of Jim's friends and family members that also happened to be there. A few days later, the two had a proper dinner date and then another date hiking to Devil's Marble Yard. Three years later and here they are!
Jessica and Alec have been such a joy to work with and I am so happy they chose me to be their wedding photographer. Their details were elegant and rustic with the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains as a backdrop. While the day brought rain and caused them to move things around, they handled it all with grace and we really had a fun time improvising!
We started the day off with getting ready at The Cambria Hotel. Everyone was relaxed and enjoying the morning. Carmella’s dress was beautiful and that top (that she got on Amazon!!!) just made it even more unique.
We then went to Braeloch. Which is where their ceremony and reception took place. All the decorations, centerpieces and hand lettered signs were done by Carmella herself!
