When I think about crazy in love, I immediately think of Kate & Evan! There is this positive energy coming from them and irradiating all around, you can feel the love in the air from miles away!

Evan and Kate’s first date was at a local restaurant in Salem, Va, the town where they grew up. They were both so nervous, they tore the straw wrappers into million little pieces. They ended up talking about anything and everything. Lots of laughing especially when they both ordered from the kid’s menu!

Before dating Kate, Evan had made the decision that whoever he would start dating when it was the time he would not tell them that “I love you” before 6 months. When they started dating, they had so much fun together!

Evan: “I remember first holding her hand and it gave me the best kind of butterflies! I knew that I had loved her from the start! She is truly my everything and I can’t wait to marry her!”

One of their most memorable dates was in Bean Point in Anna Maria Island. They were watching the sunset.

Kate: “It was BEAUTIFUL! Evan and I turned on some music and danced in the sand by the water as the sun went down. Once it got dark we stretched out in the sand and watched the stars in each other's arms. It was such a special time.”

Sometimes I get asked how is it that I love to photograph weddings so much… This is why! I remember every single one of the couples that were in front of my camera. Their stories… Getting to truly knowing them so that their personalities shine through in my images is my purpose! I was given a gift of making my passion my every day work, how special is that?!
