Chelsea & Mitch - Picnic in the Blue Ridge Mountains
You have your wedding photographer booked and it's time for your engagement portraits. So you start thinking "where should we be taking them? What will we do?!" That's when you pick up the phone and call your wedding photographer.
It's really important for me to showcase my couple's personalities and hobbies through their engagement sessions. So I always recommend doing something that they would be doing on a fun weekend.
That was the case with Chelsea & Mitch. One of their favorite thing to do is eat & enjoy a glass of wine, so why not make it a picnic in the Blue Ridge Mountains?!
How they met: The night they met he was with a group of his new work friends, coincidentally some of her friends as well. They were introduced by a friend that evening, and had an instant connection. They went to Billy's restaurant Courtyard and talked all evening. His sister knew they had met, and knew Chelsea, so she invited them both out that weekend to hang out with their mutual friends. By Sunday of that weekend, she knew he was special and potentially "the one"!
How he proposed: Outside of Billy's (where they first met) in front of their immediate family! She had planned to get their families together for a brunch at Billy's, little did she know Mitch had bigger plans! They turned the corner to head to the front door of Billy's and their families were waiting outside to go in. Next thing she knows, Mitch is down on one knee proposing! It was very special! Then they went inside and had a celebratory brunch (with PLENTY of champagne!) with their families!
