Cio’ che e’ destinato a te, trovera’ il modo di raggiungerti…” “What is destined to you, will find it’s way to you…”
Ilaria & Andrea met in 1991. They were part of the same group of friends. They were friends for 25 years without ever dating. Then they lost track of each other. One night, on Aug 2nd 2016, they were at a friend’s dinner and something just clicked! January 2017, she come home from work one night and he just hugged her and without even thinking he asked “ Te, mi vuoi sposare?”

Kelly & Zach are such a wonderful couple. They met all the way back in high school. To make the story even better they met in a chemistry class! They shared mutual friends and eventually started dating at the end of their senior year.
The last night before Kelly moved back to North Carolina for grad school, Zach took her to their favorite spot in Blacksburg to watch the sunset. Zach was staying in Blacksburg to finish his graduate program so they knew that they would be living apart for at least six months. They sat and watched the sunset but when it was time to leave, Zach got on one knee and proposed. How romantic is that?

Where do I even begin with how awesome this wedding was?
Katie & Scott’s story is so sweet. They first met through a mutual friend and Katie’s matron of honor, Brooke. Scott and Brooke were coworkers and she had been telling Scott about Katie for a while. The night of Brooke’s bachelorette party, the girls were out dancing when Scott showed up with a friend and the two were introduced. Katie had no idea that Scott even existed until then. It didn’t take too long before these two became inseparable.

I’ve seen some incredible weddings but this one was simply magical. Alexa & Jason met through mutual friends while attending Virginia Tech. They had a large, tight-knit group of friends during undergrad. They all spent time playing board games and having Harry Potter movie marathons. During Christmas break of their freshman year, the group planned a trip to Harry Potter World in Orlando, FL where these two bonded. By the time school started back up the next semester, they were dating.

Sarah & Nick are such a fun, loving couple. This entire day was so easy to shoot because these two were incredible to work with! Hanging out with their friends and family all day was just a bonus.
Sarah is such a sweetheart. Growing up, her grandma had the greenest thumb and grew these incredibly huge gardens that sound like something from a fairytale. Thanks to her grandma, Sarah grew up always loving flowers. Looking at her bouquet alone, it showed. This bouquet was gorgeous! Sarah knew she wanted purple flowers so that also helped with the color theme for the wedding as they chose shades of purple.

Margaret & Jon’s story goes all the way back to the college years where a mutual friend first introduced them. Fast forward to the closing day of their new home, Jon began to bring up where they came from, where they are now, and how he was excited to see where they would go in the future. That was the day he proposed. And what a wonderful way to do so.

Jennifer & Jim were introduced through their mutual friend, Gretchen. The two met for the first time at Blue 5 for some cocktails. Jennifer was new in town and hardly knew anyone but Jim on the other hand seemed to know everyone! That night, Jennifer was introduced to several of Jim’s friends and family members that also happened to be there. A few days later, the two had a proper dinner date and then another date hiking to Devil’s Marble Yard. Three years later and here they are!
