Planning a wedding is easy task said no one ever… Have you tried planning one in the middle of a pandemic crisis? Just the thought of it gave me chills….. Well, until I shot Kara & Tim’s wedding!

When they first started planning out their big wedding, they never thought that anything like a world spread virus would push them to make big changes! Many times during the planning they felt like they were sacrificing a lot. Changing their date was not an option, so they decided to reduce the guest list and focus on everybody’s safety.

They started with ordering matching masks for their wedding party & themselves. They also had fabric masks in different shades for their guests at the entrance to the ceremony area. Plenty of hand sanitizers and cute signage reminding their guests that while “social distancing” is temporary, love is forever. They decided to move the dancing on the patio, instead of having people dance in a closed area.

Well, putting it in Kara’s words “I can’t believe we thought we were sacrificing things, but in the end, we couldn’t imagine a more perfect day”.

Everyone that day felt safe, taken care of… Wedding vendors and guests!

What started off as a big wedding turned out to be an intimate one, focused on close friendships and true love. An elegant representation of how in difficult times we adapt to changes and how we can make the best out of everything.
